After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Critically evaluate clinical data regarding efficacy and safety of approved and investigational inhibitors of the hedgehog signaling pathway for advanced BCC
  • Assess strategies for the integration of new treatment options into the standard of care for BCC and strategies to optimize patients’ selection, dosing, tolerability and duration of response while minimizing risks
  • Identify current challenges in physician/patient communication in different practice settings
  • Assess strategies to incorporate patients perspectives into the overall management of BCC
