  • Assess the evidence supporting a crucial role of the hedgehog signaling pathway in the pathophysiology of BCC and the effect of its inhibition on different aspects of cancer growth, progression and recurrence
  • Evaluate the clinical trial data addressing the benefit /safety profile of approved and investigational inhibitors of the hedgehog signaling pathway for locally advanced or metastatic BCC
  • Examine the integration of new targeted treatment options into the standard of care for BCC and strategies to optimize patients’ selection, dosing and duration of response
