The Second Annual Asheville Hematologic Malignancies Symposium
i3 Health

Asheville, NC
Apr 16, 2016

Due to the rapid pace of research in hematologic malignancies, community hematology/oncology physicians often face difficulty synthesizing emerging and evolving data into routine patient care. The purpose of this 1-day symposium is to provide participants with expert insights from leading investigators in treatment selection and supportive care best practices for patients with acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes, multiple myeloma, and T-cell lymphoma.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess predictive and prognostic markers that affect treatment selection for patients with hematologic malignancies
  • Differentiate current and emerging efficacy and safety data on novel therapies for hematologic malignancies
  • Evaluate supportive care plans for patients with hematologic malignancies
  • Apply recent advances to meet the needs of individual patients with hematologic malignancies

Learning objectives apply to all professions in the target audience.

Oncologists, hematologists, nurses, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies.
